On the history of the instrument is not much known. According to a letter that was found in the bellow and addressed to Vool, the maker is presumably J.J. Vool and the instrument was delivered between 1804 and 1806.

1950 Instrument given on loan to the Grote Kerk Vianen.
1955 Instrument donated by dhr. Koedam to the Herv Gem. Vianen.
